For the second part of our two part Halloween special for October, we continue our special tribute to George A. Romero by looking at his non-zombie films.  This time we are joined by guest host Tom and The Goat (1980s Movie Graveyard, The Goat Show).  These include cult classics such as Creepshow and The Crazies, lesser known gems like Knightriders and Martin, and more!  So listen as we discuss the rest of the Romero canon and talk about why these films are worth tracking down.  Happy Halloween!

For our epic two part Halloween special for October, we are paying special tribute to the late George A. Romero, one of the horror genre's true master auteurs!  This first we are joined by guest host Tom to take a look at Romero's zombie films.  We will discuss all six films of his "Dead" series and offer our thoughts on why these movies continue to be relevant.  Successfully combining horror, gore, and social commentary, the Dead series includes some of the very movies the genre has to offer and is prime viewing for the month of October!  Tune in and enjoy.

Byrd and Trev are joined by frequent guest host Tom to discuss all things Twin Peaks!  As a "sequel" to our recent David Lynch special, we're taking a deep dive into the entire Twin Peaks series.  We look at how Mark Frost and David Lynch changed TV with the original run.  We discuss both original seasons, the film Fire Walk With Me, and the long (LONG) awaited third season "The Return," which just finished airing.  We talk the show's cult status, favorite characters/moments, the wait for The Return, our theories on the show (especially the Return's finale!) and more!  So kick back with some coffee and pie and enjoy our deep dive into the surreal, hilarious, and gruesome world of Twin Peaks!

Byrd and Trev discuss some of the first wave of big summer movies.  The two review Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Wonder Woman and Alien Covenant.  Trev also reviews the Mummy since he saw that one solo.  We'll answer all of your burning questions.  Did Guardians of the Galaxy 2 continue Marvel's hot streak?  Has DC earned some good will with Wonder Woman?  Did Covenant answer all of the burning questions we had after Prometheus?  Did the Mummy overcome all odds to establish a brand new Universal Monsters universe?  Listen to find out!  But first, we give our overall thoughts on how the year is shaping up for cinema.

Byrd and Trev are joined by Tom (formerly of the Second Run Podcast) and Rob (of the Drinks and Thinks Podcast) to talk about one of the most baffling and confusing movie franchises ever, as they discuss the Resident Evil series.  In the winter of 2017, Byrd was forced against his will to watch all six films and discuss them with three lunatics.  Are these actually great genre films after all?  Is Byrd just a sourpuss?  Listen and find out for yourself!  But first the guys pay tribute to the late Bill Paxton and lament the closure of the IMDB message boards.

Byrd and Trev discuss the cinematic history of Marvel's Sorcerer Supreme, Doctor Strange!  Before we discuss the recent Marvel Studios blockbuster, we go all the way back to the 1978 television movie, and Full Moon's knock-off Doctor Mordrid (which itself was almost a Dr Strange movie).  How well has Doctor Strange fared compared to his Marvel counterparts?  Listen and find out!  But first, we discuss Trump, and Byrd catches up with the rest of the world by watching Stranger Things.
