On the second October episode for 2015, the boys take a long look at Italian horror films. We talk about why they are unique and the impact they've had on the horror genre. The classic films of Mario Bava, Dario Argento, Lucio Fulci, and others are discussed. We focus on giallos, zombie movies, and cannibal films, as well as other oddities. But first we look at this October's new horror releases with brief reviews of Crimson Peak, Goosebumps, Hotel Transylvania 2, and talk about the unique experience of seeing an old school horror host go completely off the rails in a live setting. |
